Hackberry Emperor

I posted this postcard up today. When I was getting to know Ryan (my now husband), I worked a lot of nights, so we had little lunch dates every week. It was spring, and the butterflies must have been twitter-pated along with the rest of us... This butterfly hung out with me on my leg for that entire picnic. It stuck out it's curly tongue to lick me. I felt like I was the butterfly whisperer for that one meal. When I got home I looked up the butterfly. To the best of my knowledge and web searching, I think this is a hackberry emperor butterfly.

Other things going on here...More snow!! More shoveling!! And better snow conditions on the mountain!! I got to snow board yesterday with my students. Every Thursday you can feel sorry for me that I have to get paid to snowboard with students on mountains that are perfect. I love my life!

The first day on Etsy

It's snowing out.  I've shoveled twice already, and I think it maybe necessary one more time before the sun goes down. My body's kinda tired. I wonder if I look weird shoveling because a neighbor commented on my technique. All I have to say is that my legs are sore, not my back.

I had a snow day today, and I spent it shoveling AND starting my life on etsy. So this is a blog about what I've added to etsy and most likely comments about the weather.

I'm starting the store off with five postcards, one clutch, one bracelet, and one print...
